Richardson Doubles Granola Packaging at Nebraska Facility

St. Louis, Missouri - Richardson International Limited has unveiled plans for a significant expansion at its oat processing facility in South Sioux City, Nebraska.

This project aims to more than double the granola packaging capabilities of the site, a move that will boost production capacities and better align with the growing demands of Richardson's customers.

The expansion, set to commence immediately, is scheduled for completion by the first quarter of 2026.

It represents a strategic enhancement designed to integrate the latest in automation technology, thereby improving efficiency and capacity while maintaining stringent standards of food safety and quality assurance.

Tony Pulford, Director of Operations at the South Sioux City facility, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, highlighting the opportunities it presents for the granola packaging department and the local workforce.

"The team is excited about the continued growth in our granola packaging department. We look forward to adding to our dedicated team members by hiring additional production positions that will become available from the expansion," said Pulford.

This development is part of Richardson's ongoing commitment to operational excellence and continuous improvement across its various facilities.

It follows closely on the heels of other significant investments by the company, including the recent expansion of refinery and packaging capabilities at its Memphis oilseed facility.

These investments underscore Richardson's strategic approach to bolstering its manufacturing capabilities and reinforcing its position as a leader in the industry.
