New Candy Museum to Open this Summer in NYC

Sugar Factory is opening A Museum of Candy featuring the world’s largest gummy bear, make-your-own-dessert stations and edible candy murals in New York City. With this latest endeavor, the sweets chain Sugar Factory marks an entry into the candy category, also the museum will be one of the first to open in New York City.

 

 

Sugar Factory, known for their goblet-sized cocktails plans on opening three “Museum of Candy” in the next few years. The premier location being New York, it will have more than 15 interactives, candy-themed rooms, a dessert marketplace, a sit-down eatery and a cafĂ© and the admission charge to the museum would be $15 to $25.

The Sugar Factory founder Charissa Davidovici said, “The idea to create a Museum of Candy originated from the imagination of my inquisitive children and my own personal dreams about a magical candy land. We also drew inspiration from all of our guests at Sugar Factory taking pictures at our life-size Candy Dot wall and with our over-the-top food and drinks. New York City is the perfect location to open our first museum, it’s the epicenter of entertainment—we can’t wait to share this concept worldwide.”

Dubbed as the real life Candy Land, the menu offerings will consist of homemade pastries, milkshakes, doughnuts and coffee beverages. The full service restaurant which will be located Next door which will feature the Sugar Factory’s signature dishes, like smoking alcohol-infused candy goblet drinks and 24 scoop King Kong Sundae.

Launched in 2010, the Sugar Factory is located in Las Vegas and has over 25 locations worldwide.
