After 17 years with the Sudzücker Group, Beneo’s parent company, Mr. Andreas Herber has been named an executive board member of Beneo GmbH. Mr. Herber will oversee production and operations, new business development, nutrition science, regulatory affairs, and food application as well as corporate communications, human resources, and I.T.
In his experience with the Sudzücker Group, Mr. Herber was head of corporate development and was responsible for strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and noncore investments. Mr. Herber completed his degree in business administration in international management at the Institut Commercial de Nancy in France.
Beneo was formed in 2007 and is committed to better nutrition and health through its offerings. The company manufactures ingredients used in the baking industry including functional fibres and functional carbohydrates. Headquartered in Germany, Beneo has offices in Belgium, Germany, Spain, Singapore, USA and Brazil.
