Abe’s is a New York based producer of vegan treats and has released a new vegan fudge brownie. Abe’s started by two brothers: Joby and Marty Koffman looking to explore work outside of their finance jobs.

Joby’s son, Abe, was born with severe lactose intolerance, allergies to nuts, eggs, sesame, soy and seeds.

Marty says, “we began to experiment with formulations that Abe could eat. Who wants their kid to be the one at the party or snack time who has to sit apart from everyone else eating mango slices?”

The fudge brownies are sold for a suggested retail price of $6.99 to $7.99 for a pack of 12.

Marty continues, “Abe’s consumers have been asking for us to create an indulgent chocolatey treat for years, so a brownie was a natural choice. And we try to deliver after a year of research and development, we’re thrilled with the final Abe’s ooey-gooey chocolate fudge brownie. The sticker on the container perfectly sums up our brownies: The Smudgier The Fudgier.”

Other vegan products include, pound cakes and cornbread. Some flavor offerings for pound cake include coffee cake, ginger spice, dark chocolate and zucchini bread.
